Clinical Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of the state of hypnosis to help with a wide variety of problems or issues someone may be experiencing. During a hypnotherapy session a client is gently induced into a very relaxed trance-like state of hypnosis, where the practitioner promotes communication between the conscious and sub-conscious mind. When in hypnosis, appropriate suggestion and guidance is given by the practitioner which supports and activates the behaviour change required by the client.
Hypnosis can be used to assist thought and behaviour change and is a very relaxing, safe experience. Clients often feel rested, lighter in spirit and less tense following a session. It is safe to drive a vehicle after hypnosis.
Results can be immediate or take several days to appear. With some clients it can take several sessions to see full behaviour change. Everyone is different and some people are more responsive to hypnosis than others.
